Mundane Myriad

I am what I am, Not what you want to see in me, Nor how you want to see me, Not as the slave of your desire or your favour. How I laugh, dress, sit, stand, speak, love, or hate Don’t you decide for me, My mind, heart, and conscience would decide how things will be. You really love me, respect me and care for me, Be there when I struggle, fall, stand or rise, On the same plateau with me, besides me, To see the sparkle or the despair in my eyes, To be my strength and be with me for what I am, Not for what you want to see in me, Nor how you want to see me, Not as the slave of your desire or your favour.

चलो एक नये सिरे से दुनिया बनाते हैं जहाँ अच्छाई की बलात्कार ना हो और बुराई का चमत्कार ना हो जहाँ प्यार की कीमत ना हो और दोस्ती में बिश्वासघात ना हो जहाँ अपनों के बीच में से दूरियाँ हटाने की ताक़त हो और दूरियाँ से अप्नपन की झलक निखारने की ताबीज़ हो चलो ऐसी ही एक दुनियाँ बसाते हैं आओ एक नये सिरे से दुनिया बनाते हैं.

I loved your love my love, The more you made me feel loved, the more I felt in love, The more the words, the acts, the gesture, and the care, spoke love, The more I felt to be in love, And as those words, acts, gesture and care, dried of love, The more I went away from love, The more it was filled with treachery and allegations, The more I regretted  to be in love from wanting to be in love, If this is what is love then I don't want to be in love, Because I loved your love my love.

          Few receding hairlines and few extra layers of flab around the waistline, The selfie-struck Baba talking about the truth of life,   The giggles and the chatters, The laughter and the banters, The sparkle on the faces and thereof those glitters, The spoken and the unspoken words from the long-held emotions, The remembrance of old days and the unfolding of life’s chapter, The promise to take the friendship further and deeper, Beyond the ego, the status, and the stature, With the only identity of “friends forever”.
